This building in English it’s called the
pavilion of imperial scenery and in Chinese is Yu Jing Ting. It is about 10m
high. This is a man-made rockery to emperor exercise and to enable him to
release misfortune: Emperors would climb up to the pavilion on the double Ninth
festival to enjoy the scenery with the royal family. The pavilion site on top
of an artificial hill called gathering beauty hill (Dui Xiu Shan). Also these
rocks were brought from Guan Hua Dian.
