Ming dynasty was an empire established by the Han people, and
they were the majority of all ethnic groups. The name of its first emperor, the
founder of Ming dynasty, was Zhu Yuan Zhang, and people called him ‘Huang Di’,
which we assume it to be the position of emperor. Back then, obviously, a Huang
Di had the ultimate political power to rule his empire, which made him divine
at the same time. He could simply do everything he wanted to do.
Right under huang di, there was also one of the highest class called Cheng Xiang and Zhang Jun. Cheng Xiang was responsible for supporting Huang Di in the process of making decision, choosing the right policies. On the other hand, Zhang Jun was responsible for army. Under those three, most of positions were available for people who passed the national exam to get a job in the office.
At that time, the power structure of Ming dynasty was an emperor-centered structure, and Huang Di order was absolute.
